On a somewhat dull and chilly dog walk this week, I happened upon my first daffodil bulbs pushing up through the mud.  Knowing that Spring is just around the corner always gives me an extra bounce in my step as it happens to be one of my favourite times of year.  I just love the promise of the lighter evenings, bandy legged new-born lambs delighting our countryside and the brilliant colour that we start to see emerging from deciduous trees and spring bulbs.  Yes, I think it is fair to say that I am done with the January blues and I am moving on to better and greener things.

In addition to promise of Spring, the amazing feedback we've been getting this month has also given us both something to smile about.  Both Simon and I feel really proud to be able to provide a small thing that helps those individuals who want to help themselves.

For example, we've heard incredible stories of families rallying together to make working out more fun. Persevering individuals who in spite of life changing obstacles such brain tumours and strokes still continue their exercises, striving to be the best that they can be.

If you have something that you would like us to include on our weekly blog, just email us at enquiries@aliveandactive.co.uk and we'll publish your story here.
